The Culinary Supervisor: Cat's Ingenious Way to Join Kitchen Activities

Kymberlee Graves, a TikTok user known for sharing snippets of her lively household filled with children and cats, introduced the world to her feline's unique habit. One of her cats, affectionately dubbed "Catatouille," has a penchant for supervising kitchen activities. However, with the table being off-limits, the family devised a creative solution.

To accommodate their curious cat, the family introduced a movable "table box." This designated spot allows the cat to be part of the culinary action without breaking any rules. As meals are prepared, the box shifts around the kitchen, granting the feline the best vantage points.

"He's a bit of a micromanager," Graves humorously notes in one of her videos. "Tilting his head this way and that, he watches closely as each piece of potato peel flings into the trash bag."

The cat's dedication is evident. Observing every chop, stir, and sizzle, he ensures no detail goes unnoticed. Occasionally, he even moves his mouth, as if tasting the air, ensuring his humans aren't discarding any delicacies.

The family's journey with their two cats began in March. In just a few months, the felines have seamlessly integrated into the household, establishing their roles and, evidently, their authority.

"The cat box compromise is a sure sign that the cats have taken over," Graves remarks. "The human’s only responsibility is to do the bidding of the cats."
